By downloading or using Peer Penalty, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Peer Penalty. Some game content references mature party topics and social dares. Play responsibly and follow local laws. Drinking is never required — peer penalties are social consequences chosen by your group.

What Peer Penalty is

Peer Penalty is a social party game app. Each player uses their own phone to join a shared room and play curated prompts, dares, and questions together. When someone passes or skips, the group assigns a peer penalty — a fun social consequence, not a mandate to drink. You are responsible for how you play in real-world settings.

Accounts

• Accounts are optional. Usernames are permanent once created.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or endanger others in lobbies or during gameplay
• Submit illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Spam rooms, abuse join codes, or attempt to disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend access for violations. Use in-app report and block tools in multiplayer lobbies.

User-generated content

Text you submit (confessions, dares, questions) may be reviewed for future game content. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use submissions to improve the app. Do not submit content you do not have rights to share.

Purchases

• Premium games are one-time in-app purchases through Apple.
• Prices are shown before you confirm payment.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
• Use “Restore Purchases” to recover entitlements on a new device.

Disclaimer

Peer Penalty is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Party games involve real-world interaction — play safely, obtain consent, and never pressure anyone to participate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or real-world activities prompted by game content.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
