Common questions

How do I host a game?

On the home screen, tap a game card → Play. Peer Penalty opens a lobby with a 4-letter room code. Share that code with friends — everyone needs Peer Penalty on their own phone.

How do I join a friend's game?

Enter your name and the 4-letter room code on the home screen. When the code is complete, you join automatically and land in the lobby.

How many people do I need?

Most games need at least two phones in the same room — one host and one or more friends who joined with the code.

What is a peer penalty?

When someone passes or skips a dare or prompt, the group picks a fun social consequence. It is up to your table — drinking is never required by the app.

How do I restore purchases?

Open a locked premium game → tap Restore purchases, or go to the in-app store. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used to buy the game.

How do I delete my account?

Open Account from the home screen (gear icon) → Delete account. This removes your profile and signs you out. Your username cannot be reused.

How do I report someone?

In the multiplayer lobby, tap a player's name → Report or Block.

App Store review access

Reviewers: accounts are optional. On device A, tap a free game → Play and note the room code. On device B, enter the code on the home screen. When two players are in the lobby, the host can start the game. Sandbox Apple ID required for premium unlock testing.
